About Us

Pastor Carlo Burnside's ministerial journey began on Easter Sunday in 1981; after a moving resurrection sermon preached by
the Senior Pastor of Union Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church. There, at the age of six, he received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. At twelve, Pastor Burnside became a faithful participant in the Men's Sunday School Class. When he turned fifteen, he was appointed Junior Deacon, and began to lead worship services, sing in the choir and minister through instrumental music. He attended various churches utilizing his God given gifts and became a sought after preacher, speaker and artist. His instrument of choice, the alto saxophone.

At the age of twenty-two, Pastor Burnside became the youth music director at Mt. Ararat Missionary Baptist Church, and became deeply involved in biblical study and outreach ministry. After several years as Youth Pastor, he received accreditations from Faith Christian Church in ministerial study and etiquette.

In 2001, he became an Associate Minister of Love and Truth Ministries, under the leadership of Pastor Norman Lynch. Shortly thereafter, while living in a community he perceived that the basis of the crimes being committed were for peace of mind. He then decided to function as a Pastor in that environment and founded Judeo-Christian Ministry (JCM). He became a servant to those who would normally be judged, instead of inspired. He showed those who had lost faith in God, and hope for themselves, that peace would be found in God's word.

JCM allowed him to place the needs of his neighbors before his own, by providing for, and sacrificing his time to help those who needed it most. As the community noticed his efforts, the environment began to change for the better.

Allowing persons to find their potential in God, working out their own salvation through love and becoming successful in that work, is the focus of Judeo-Christian Ministry. It’s about meeting the needs of our neighbor, by adoption to God our Father, through the covenant of Jesus Christ.

Our mission is to help persons identify their purpose in that covenant, and fulfill their purpose. Our scripture reference is Romans 2:29, "But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly: and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God."

Now that you know the history of Judeo-Christian Ministry, allow us to help fulfill the purpose of God in your life.

****In 2009, Pastor Burnside received his Certificate of Ordination from Hunter Ministries. Currently, his over-shepherd is Pastor Brooks of Restoration Ministries****
